Brexit Follow Up

I don't normally issue interim comment but thought it appropriate here albeit that I am still on Holiday in Sardinia.

I’ve always believed that a) whatever the outcome we’ll be fine as a country although there would be a period of uncertainty and b) it was right to give people their voice.

Likewise that as the Conservatives didn’t expect to get a majority win last year and as any government would have had to do at some point, they’ve got it done and having done so, can claim the morale ground and given themselves four years to recover prior to the next General Election.

The people have spoken, democracy has won and we have to get on with it now.

As I said earlier in the week, there’s absolutely no point in worrying about things which are beyond our control.  So let's 'Keep Calm and Carry on.’
