Make the hairs stand up on your neck!

We have all experienced events that have excited us. Family related that have made us proud. And/or that once in a lifetime opportunity.
But should they only be reserved for those special occassions? Or should we find ways to make the hairs stand up on the back of our necks more often?
I have a simple philosophy. That life has a nasty habit of biting us on the backside, when we least expect it. Meaning that we have to take advantage of all of the opportunities as and when they arise. And capitalise on these without fear or favour.
We should be making the most of every moment and opportunity that arises. As we hear far too often in the media, of events that have sadly changed people's lives forever. And more frequently than not, without warning.
I know it’s morbid. But if you knew that you had a specific limited time on this planet, what are the things that you’d want to make sure that you’d done? Or ensure had happened?
Most are likely to be small and to others insignificant. But the core principle is that they are personal. And most importantly specific and relevant to us.
Lifestyle financial planning affords us the ability to do just that. By delving, exploring, identifying, evidencing and plotting how and when those things can be done.

Remember that life is not a rehearsal, and we only get one crack at it. And although the money is important, it’s what we do with it that really counts.
